Glucose Oral Gel

For low blood sugar.

Instructions

Squeeze entire contents of the tube into your mouth and swallow.

Start taking this medicine as soon as you develop symptoms.

Store at room temperature away from heat, light, and moisture. Do not keep in the bathroom.

Check your blood sugar 10 to 15 minutes after taking your first dose. If your blood sugar level is still low, take another dose. Seek medical care if your symptoms do not improve within 20 minutes or if your blood sugar continues to go lower.

Tell your doctor and pharmacist about all your medicines. Include prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal medicines.

Tell your doctor if symptoms do not get better or if they get worse.

Symptoms of low blood sugar may include nausea, shaking, sweating, cold skin, fast heartbeat, hunger, and irritability.

Cautions

Tell your doctor and pharmacist if you ever had an allergic reaction to a medicine.

Do not use the medication any more than instructed.

Tell the doctor or pharmacist if you are pregnant, planning to be pregnant, or breastfeeding.

Side Effects

If you have any of the following side effects, you may be getting too much medicine. Please contact your doctor to let them know about these side effects.

A few people may have an allergic reaction to this medicine. Symptoms can include difficulty breathing, skin rash, itching, swelling, or severe dizziness. If you notice any of these symptoms, seek medical help quickly.
